Have you ever found yourself saying, “Why is everything such a hassle?” Sometimes when I need to accomplish a task, I encounter one issue after another that blocks my success. Oh, how easy it can be to lose my sense of peace.
We are all going to have those frustrating times, on the computer, trying to fix something at home or at our jobs etc. From my experience, losing my patience and getting upset only ruins the rest of my day. Then when I try to work at it again with my poor attitude, I mess things up even more, which adds to more frustration. It can be a vicious cycle.
What works? In order to recover and be able to finish my task, I have found I must walk away and pray. I have also found that quoting Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) helps tremendously, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I believe we humans think God doesn’t care about insignificant things in our life or it’s just plain silly to pray about the little things. Well, little things often become big things especially if we take out our bad mood and dump it on someone else.
As they say, work smarter not harder, so lets us pray and ask for divine help to start with or at least before we lose our peace.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Prayer
Lord, I live in irritating world and it’s hard not to let my frustrations grow into anger. I know full well that If I don’t let you help me take control of it, it will be my nemesis, my very downfall. Lord, help me remember to invite you into all areas of my life. You alone Lord, can help me live in peace and comfort. You alone can help me accomplish much. I am thankful that I am still able to do many things and that I can always put my trust in you. Thank you, Lord, praise your Holy name
In Jesus’ name, amen.
God Bless
Sally
